    Hi,

I’ve just installed WordPress, WooCommerce and the Google Listings and Ads plugin and the products I’ve added are being synced with the Google Merchant Centre but it says in Diagnostics there that shipping is missing from the feed for some countries.

Active (GB, SE, NO, DK, TR, PT, RO, GR, FI, HU, SK)

Disapproved or invalid (DE, IT, ES, NL, AT, BE, CH, IE, PL, CZ, FR)

Now in Woo Commerce I’ve got Shipping Classes with Shipping Zones setup.

Does the Plugin know how to handle these and send the right data? Or is it something wrong for those countries? When I go to Feeds in the Merchant Centre I don’t actually see the feed to download although the products are there in the All Products tab.

    Any help appreciated, thankyou!

    Hi @indigo79,

    Happy to assist here:

Could you confirm how you have set up your shipping information? Example: https://d.pr/i/Hr1tWY

If you can give us a bit more context and walk us through the path you took to set up shipping we can definitely assist further.

    Hi,

I think what I want to do cannot be done through this native Google Shopping plugin unless I am mistaken. The option for shipping where a fixed rate is set by selecting “I have a fairly simple setup” only allows 1 rate to be set and the other option of “a more complex setup” then says underneath that I have to setup shipping in google.

What I wanted was my setup in Woocommerce with shipping classes and shipping zones to be sent through to google for each product without having to set anything up in google.

Is that possible because I can’t see how it can be done with either of the 2 options in the screenshot?

    Thankyou for your help,

    Michael

    Hi @indigo79

The ability to completely synch all shipping settings is on the roadmap, but for now, if you do not want to go with the basic estimation option, more details about how to set up shipping in Merchant Centre can be found here.

Google help centre also has some documentation here.

    Hi @indigo79,

I’m one of the devs. Just confirming.

Advancing shipping configurations and direct integration with extensions like Table Shipping and WooCommerce Shipping aren’t automatically synced with Google Merchant Center at this time.

The extension supports basic set ups (which actually covers a lot of merchants) but if you need a more advanced configuration you can simply log into the Merchant Center and set it up there (as mentioned by @nicw)

If you select “I have a more complex shipping setup and I cannot estimate flat shipping rates” it will simply use the settings you configure directly with the Merchant Center.

I’ll mark as resolved for now – we’ve got this on our radar as something to potentially look at in the future.

    Thanks!

    Hi there,

I have a similar need – and from reading this thread see that I need to switch to “complex shipping”. I can’t see where to switch from simple shipping to complex shipping in the plugin.

I’ve set up all the shipping rules in Google Merchant Center but I think the simple shipping setup from woocommerce is overriding it.

How can switch my existing feed to “I have a more complex shipping setup and I cannot estimate flat shipping rates” ?

    Thanks!
