WPPA+ extremely slow & other issues

    Hi
    There seems to be kind of corruption of WPPA+.
    Firstly it’s extremely slow when you try to preview a page or alter a setting.
    The Photo Albums menu is missing Logfile & also certain settings such as Table V: 2a,b,c,d Slideshow desc do not work.
    I’ve deactivated, deleted & reinstalled WPPA+ but the problems remain.
    Suggestions?

    Did you update wp to version 5.8?

    You could try wppa 8.0, see https://wppa.nl/nl/changelog/ it is still a beta, but i do not expect serious issues.

    The problem is that it’s intermittant.
    I tried disabling all plugins but results depend on whether it’s running slow or fast at the time so it’s difficult to pin down

    Have been in contact with host.
    They think they may solved the issue with a server.
    That just leaves the issue with Logfile missing in Photo Albums.

    Table VIII-C1 has an ‘On menu’ checkbox.
    On version 8: Advanced settings -> Misc -> II: Logging: item 10
    Tick that box

    Ah, logfile back in menu.
    It doesn’t show much though, only this which was from many hours ago:

    And it’s still really slow off & on.
    Still waiting for the Host to confirm or deny that it’s a server problem.
    I’ll try wppa 8.0 later.
