Migration from Joomla to wordpress

As seen in comments, seems the migration is not working in latest versions of both applications.

Has anybody tried this from J 1.5.15 to WP 2.9.2?

This is version 4 of Azeem’s script. I fixed some bugs that I found while importing 3000 posts until it was successful. I also added a few things. Creating htaccess redirects to the new urls and converting over mosimage.

I just wrote my own importer since I was unhappy with the UTF8 conversion of the other ones available.
