• In the last updates, this plugin has caused error in my clients websites. Also, I’ve just lost a customer due to the malfunction of this plugin.

The author should test the plugin before launching the updates publically.

Hi @aidatun, we’re aware of an issue in Spotlight v0.9 and v0.9.1 for which a fix is currently being tested. It only affected a few Spotlight users, not everyone, which is why it wasn’t caught in our pre-release testing since we couldn’t reproduce it ourselves.

I’m sorry for the trouble it has caused you and your client. Had you reached out to us in support to report the errors you saw on this site in particular?

We’re releasing an update with the fixes very soon.

@aidatun we’d love to see you working with Spotlight successfully again.

We’ve just released Spotlight v0.9.2 which fixes the errors from v0.9.1. Can you please update, clear the Spotlight cache from the Spotlight Settings as well as your browser cache, and let me know whether that gets your Instagram feeds working again?

To clarify, all Spotlight updates are thoroughly tested before being released. Being humans, we may miss something here and there, but even that has been very rare in our history. Nevertheless, we’re working on doing a better job of it and we sincerely apologise for the problems this has caused.

Sorry, I can’t update. The customer cancelled the contract with me and the last thing he request was replacing your plugin.

That’s unfortunate. We’re happy to help if you’d like to give Spotlight another go on another client’s website or your own.

For future reference, if you do encounter errors or issues when using Spotlight, please reach out to [email protected]. We offer support Monday through Friday and sometimes on weekends too, so we’re always here for our users.
