We’ve had an error with a client’s website:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 805306368 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 79209389444 bytes) in /home/customer/www/blackbirdmotorcyclewear.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/src/functions.php on line 32

I’ve deactivated Yoast and the website runs fine again.

Yoast and all other plugins, themes (Divi) and WordPress are up-to-date and on the latest versions.

Any insights into what could be causing this would be greatly appreciated. At the same time I’m also trying to set up a staging site so that I can switch plugins on and off but given that time is of the essence (this is a popular ecommerce website), I would like to be able to re-activate Yoast so as to minimise impact on their SEO ranking.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Thanks for reaching out here. We’re sorry to hear that you’re having trouble.

This error occurs when your server runs out of memory to complete the task at hand. Increasing the memory allotted or decreasing the number of tasks will fix the issue.

In order to fix the error, you’ll need to increase the maximum allowed memory by reaching out to your web hosting provider. If you’re familiar with server management, you can change?the?memory_limit value?directly from?the?php.ini?file. Please refer to?our guide?to learn more about this.
