invalid command ‘php_value’ with php-fpm instead of mod_php

thank you for your time!

When migrating using installer.php and using php-fpm instead of mod_php I get:

/var/www/vhosts/DOMAIN.de/httpdocs/dup-installer/.htaccess: Invalid command 'php_value', perhaps misspelled or defined by a module not included in the server configuration, referer: https://DOMAIN.de/dup-installer/main.installer.php

This is (if I understand correctly) because php-fpm does not support php_value in .htaccess files.
(only mod_php in apache does)

Would it work still?
(right now I have no easy env to test it ?? )
