    Hi,

I make most of my orders manual in the backend of WooCommerce, I do this so I can edit the prices directly in the order and give certain customers a better price. But on the order confirmation mail you see how much the discount is, I want this to be hidden. How do I do this?

    Hi there ??

I understand you would like to customize the WooCommerce order notification emails for the customers so that you can remove the discount from the order confirmation email.

By default, this option is not available in WooCommerce but you can refer to our document below for some options that are available for customization of the email template:

If you do require more help with the actual coding, we’d recommend you hire a developer who can take a look at this, quote you for their services, and help you add this feature to your site. We’d recommend getting in touch with a web developer or one of the customization experts listed at https://woocommerce.com/customizations/.

    Cheers! ??

    Hi @gabrielfuentes ,

Yes I want to create an order manually in the backend and make some products cheaper but when I do this the order notification email shows:

    Product Price: $400
    Subtotal: $400
    Discount: -$200
    Total: $200

But I only want it to say:

    Product Price: $200
    Total: $200

    Hi there,

The email will always differentiate between discount and product price, since you are effectively not changing the product price when putting in a discounted price in the order.

But I only want it to say:
    Product Price: $200
    Total: $200

In that case I would duplicate the product, hide it from the shop and lower the price of the duplicate so you can use it in the manual creation of orders.

    Kind regards,

    Hi,

But is there a way I can edit prices in the order and just hide the discount from the confirmation mail?

Well, this is a fairly complex development topic. I’m going to leave it open for a bit to see if anyone is able to chime in to help you out.

I can also recommend the WooCommerce Developer Resources Portal for resources on developing for WooCommerce.

You can also visit the WooCommerce Facebook group or the #developers channel of the WooCommerce Community Slack. We’re lucky to have a great community of open-source developers for WooCommerce, and many of our developers hang out there, as well.

    Cheers.
