Jcarousel -> current page

Hi,

I am using jcarousel lite (with jquery) to creae a nice scroll for my post thumbs.

The tool is nice and ultra lite but there is one problem, it has no option to load a start position dynamicly. Whenever you click on a thumb the position goes back to the start.

It does have a parameter to set a start position but the values that it accepts are only numbers. These numbers represent a simple count of the list items. There is somebody here who tried to load the number dynamicly using php/wordpress. This didn’t work for him and will probably not work for me (considering the structure of my site)

More logic would be te make it accept class or id values in my opinion. Is there anyone that encountered the same problem of who can think of a workaround?
