I am, however, finally recovered enough to work on this and have just committed Version 1.0.8 to the WordPress repository.
The problem with Version 1.0.7 was that in certain circumstances it was not able to activate. I believe I have found what caused that and fixed it.
I’ve tested 1.0.8 with both a WordPress Multi-site and a stand-alone WordPress site. In both cases, I was able to activate the plugin.
Please let me know whether or not you are able to activate Version 1.0.8.
