Featured post image is not showing on facebook

Can you share a screenshot of what image you have uploaded for Facebook in the social tab of the Yoast SEO metabox for that post? You can use any image-sharing service like https://pasteboard.co/, https://snag.gy/, https://imgur.com/, https://snipboard.io/, or even upload the screenshot to your own website. Once you upload it to an image sharing service, please share the link to the image here.

In the link that you provide the featured image is the same with first atached image on the post.

We re-scraped the relevant page using the Facebook Object Debugger and can confirm that it’s now showing the correct image that you defined as the featured image showing as expected. You can test the relevant page by sharing it on Facebook.

Yes, you are right! If i re-scraped the post with facebook debugger it shows the featured image but i don’t understand why it dosen’t show it from the first time that i post.

I have noticed this problem by updating to latest version of yoast from 14.3. I dosen’t wanna update but i have some security issue with my site.

We are afraid to say that it would be an issue specific to Facebook itself rather than an issue specific to the Yoast SEO plugin. We can confirm that the Yoast SEO plugin is still referencing the correct image from the source code but it’s Facebook that isn’t showing the correct image. So, you’ll need to use the workaround mentioned above to make it work.
