Crop selection area not in same position when re-cropping

Hi, thanks for the great plugin. Having cropped some images and reviewed them I’ve then gone back in to adjust the crop a little bit. But, although the various previews on the left are correct, on selecting an image size to adjust the crop selection area on the right is reverting to cover the whole of the image (either height or width depending on whether the crop is portrait or landscape) and I have to start the crop again. Is this the correct behaviour of the plugin or should it retain the previous crop position on edit? I’m working in WordPress 5.8.
