Edit the message: “You can only buy maximum…”

    How can I edit the message: “You can only buy maximum %limit% of %product_title% (you’ve already bought %bought%).” such that my changes are not overridden during a plugin update?

    Please note I do not wish to change the language. I just wish to amend this message in English as we have many users who are trying to purchase another one for a friend or family member which is totally fine so I just want to advise them that they need to log out and create a new account for that person. I hope that makes sense.

    Does this plugin have any hooks or support overrides in the theme files or something like that to allow customization of this message?

    Hi,

    You can easily customize the message from WooCommerce > Settings > Maximum Products per User > Front End > Customer message

    Available message placeholders:

    %limit%, %bought%, %remaining%, %in_cart%, %bought_plus_in_cart%, %remaining_minus_in_cart%, %adding%, %in_cart_plus_adding%, %bought_plus_in_cart_plus_adding%, %remaining_minus_in_cart_minus_adding%, %product_title%, %term_name%, %first_order_amount%, %first_order_date%, %first_order_date_exp%, %first_order_date_exp_timeleft%, %payment_method_title%
