I am unable to edit certain pages with Elementor when your plugin is activated. Some pages work fine while others don’t. I am getting the error “Sorry, the content area was not found in your page. You must call the_content function in the current template, in order for Elementor to work on this page.”

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello @sbeat

    Thank you for reaching us.

We are sorry for the trouble that we may have caused. May I know the name of the pages you are having trouble with? Also, which theme are you using?

We tested initially but failed to replicate the issue. So, please help us with some more information.

    Regards,

It only happens randomly and on random pages. I am using GeneratePress theme but tried switching to the Twenty Twenty-One theme for testing and still getting that issue. I can not replicate the issue when I disable the Directorist plugin.

The first screenshot is what it looks like with all that white space on the right, and the second screenshot is what it is supposed to look like –

I think I have found it is actually another plugin that may be causing the conflict.

Ignore the screenshots, that is an issue from another plugin, but I am still unable to edit certain pages within Elementor until I disable the Directorist plugin. Still receiving the error message “Sorry, the content area was not found in your page. You must call the_content function in the current template, in order for Elementor to work on this page.”

    Hello @sbeat

Thank you for the update. It could possibly be a plugin/theme conflict or could also relate to the paid extension issues. To rectify it we will require further debugging.

Would you mind reaching us at https://directorist.com/contact ?

    Thank you.
