Admin Role but no access to woocommerce sales data?

  • I’d like to hire a developer to make a few upgrades. Usually we just create an additional admin role and it’s fine. But this is my first time using the woocommerce plugin.

    Is there a way to give them full access to our backend without giving them access to sales data, customer information, or details to our linked payment API’s?

    Is there any other Woocommerce information we’d want to protect too?

    I tried googling this but couldn’t really find any information. So if there’s a resource somewhere, I’d be happy to be pointed in the right direction also.

    Do you plan allow developer to install and/or update some plugin?
    If Yes, there is no sense to restrict such user in any manner. It takes few minutes to get full access to the site via PHP code.

    Solution, setup stage site copy with non critical and/or fake data.
