  • Hi @vpjm30,

Thank you so much for taking the time to give us this feedback. Can you tell me more about the third-party account you needed to use?

I’d like to hear more about your personal situation. Would you consider reaching out to us at [email protected]?

Thanks again for sharing your thoughts and giving OptinMonster a try!

The very first thing this plugin did after I installed it was to redirect to a setup wizard and the very first step in this wizard was to tell me to claim my “free” Opt In Monster account. I don’t need another account just to add a popup to my website.

    Hi @vpjm30

    Thanks for writing back.

OptinMonster WordPress Plugin allows you to integrate OptinMonster into your WordPress website without adding any code manually. That is why it is required to create an account to use the plugin.

It’s a SaaS product, which can be used on any website as long as you can add our embed code to the website. For WordPress, we do that via our plugin.

We offer a free plan (regular plans can be found here: https://optinmonster.com/pricing/) especially for WordPress users which you can only claim via the plugin.

I am sorry to hear that you were expecting it to work differently. Please let us know if we can help you set it up by writing to us at [email protected] and we will be delighted to assist.

Have an awesome day ahead and thanks again for taking the time to share your feedback.
