    Goodday,
After succesfull backup Xcloner sends out notification email.
But is always gets rejected by Amazon SES with response 5.3.4 Message is too long.
Bassically it would mean the 10mb max size from SES is exceeded.
How can we control how big the email is Xcloner sends out?
(really only needs to be small email telling it was either a succesfull backup or telling if there were any errors)
    Thanks, Tijmen

    Hello

Thanks for your feedback, currently we don’t have a such option, you can only disable email notification entirely, I’ve passed it to our engineers and they will decide if we can add in future option to disable email attachment.

The reason for this is because the notification message contains the backup log as attached messabe, so maybe try and disable logging in XCloner once you are confident everything runs fine, and then test this again.

I would vote here for an option to decide whether the notification log should include the backup log as an attachment.

    Thanks for the replies,
You do want to have a log in wordpress or on your server but in most cases you do not want to email it.
So a setting to include or exclude the attachement would be the best solution.
I hope this could get added in nearby future.
    Thanks again.

Actually I posted the same feature request a week ago ??
I think it would absolutely make sense to have the option to prevent sending a several MB attachment.

In the meanwhile maybe this hint could help:
my hoster told me, that the XCloner mails are rejected because I use php to send the mail. There they have a size limitation of 10 MB. If I would use SMTP instead, the limitation would be 100 MB. Though I haven’t tried it, I think there are ways (e.g. plugins) to utilize SMTP instead of the php function in WordPress.

Altough I guess the differences in mail size limitations are kind of specif to my hoster, it still might also help for others.
