Import products with webp images

That solution is NOT working. When I try to open/import the csv file from woocommerce in excel I get a lot of crap. I try a comma as separator, the tab, the space, every available option. But stil I don’t get a good file that I can alter.

Isn’t it better to alter woocommerce so that it understands and accepts webp, now that wordpress accepts webp.

I just added the following code:

    if ( false !== strpos( $filename, '.webp' ) ) {

add_filter( 'upload_mimes', 'wpse_mime_types_webp' );
function wpse_mime_types_webp( $mimes ) {
    $mimes['webp'] = 'image/webp';

  return $mimes;
}

And now it works.
