Lifter lms is not translating fully to German

Hi @anjiya,

It looks like maybe your translation file needs to be synced with the most recent LifterLMS .pot update!

You can do this by going into Loco Translate file for LifterLMS and clicking the Sync button!

I have already synced so many times but it is not translating, there are two scenerios,

One is that, there are some strings which are translated in locotranslate but not reflecting on front end.

Another is that, there are strings which are not even showing in loco translate for translations.

Can you please help?

Could you please update LifterLMS and all plugins to the latest version and let’s see if this helps.

I have updated the plugin but it still not worked out. I am not sure about the lifter lms account, the gateway plugin was provided by someone else so I cannot open a support ticket.

Thank you for the clarification.

The privacy policy is actually something you will need to edit under LifterLMS->Settings->Account. The Privacy Policy information box will be near the bottom and because this is manually edited here it won’t take the Loco Translate option.

For the forms postal code etc. if you form reset the form or delete the block and then reinsert it this should begin to use the translation!

There are still so many strings that are not transated correctly, like on my account page there is a string you failed a quiz in which failed is translated to hat which should be hast and simillarly mail is translated to e mail which should be E mail.

Another string that is above privacy policy of have a voucher? is still not reflected but is translated in locotranslate.

Some strings are not visible, some are visible but not translating in front end and some are not correctly translated so I need to change the translation but same problem, I am editing in loco translate but it is not reflecting.

Can you go into your LocoTranslate and tell us where that file is being saved to?

There should be a “Relocate” tab second to the end when editing the translation. If you can copy and paste the location this may be the issue, that it is not being correctly saved in the location to apply the translations.

You will want to relocate the translation file to the one at this address:

plugins/lifterlms/languages/lifterlms-de_DE.po

Then as long as the site language is set to German you should be good to go!

Hello!

I have the same problem with translations into German as anjiya had, but changing the location where the data is saved does not fix it in my case. Is there anything else I can try?

I cannot even find some translations in the lifterlms program and some of them are there but not shown correctly at the front end.
