    Hi

I have just downloaded your plugin which looks very promising. I am in need of a popup that specifically appears when a shipping zone applies. I see shipping classes but not zones. Is this something that is possible?

Reason for it is that customers ordering from other countries need to be told in no uncertain terms that it can take up to X weeks to arrive.

    Kind regards
    Theo

    Hello @mlungu69

Thank you for reaching out to us!

Currently, the available option for targeting a popup is for the shipping class. I’m afraid the shipping zone is not yet supported. If you would like, you may submit a feature request at this link here.

    I hope that helps.

Let us know if you have any questions or if there’s anything else we can help you with.

    Hi

Thanks for the response. I would like to open a feature request as without that functionality we cannot use the plugin. However, when clicking on the link to open a feature request is asks for a username and pass for popupmaker – without an option to register. I am sure I am missing it but how do I obtain a username and pass for this?

    Cheers

    Hello @mlungu69

    Thank you for your reply.

The feature request link is for users who are using the premium extension plugins. If you have one, you can use your Popup Maker credentials to submit a feature request. I believe this will fall under the WooCommerce Pro extension plugin.

    I hope that helps.

    Hi

Hmmm ok that puts us in a strange position. Without that functionality, we have no use for the plugin as that would have been its sole purpose in our case. But I cannot create a feature request for it because we are not using the premium version. Yet I cannot purchase the premium version because it doesn’t have the particular functionality we need.

Maybe you can create the feature request on my behalf and we’ll keep checking back to see if it was added or not?

    Cheers

Hello Theo, in this case, we will need to escalate this to our lead developer and as soon as we get any new piece of information then we will reply to this thread with an update.

    Your patience is highly appreciated.

@mlungu69 – To be honest this functionality wouldn’t be available anytime soon as we are already working on some other major changes. It would also in all likelyhood end up as a premium WooCommerce feature as all newer WC stuff does to increase the value of those products to our paying users.

I have added it to our issue tracker though for prioritization.

In general though you could add your own custom one off conditions pretty easily. IE write a PHP function or JS function that returns true when the conditions are right for a popup to appear. Then register it via our PHP filters, or check out our Advanced Targeting Conditions extension which has a Custom PHP/JS Function condition where you can enter your functions name without any filtering.

    Hope that helps.

    Hi Daniel

Thanks for the response. I have absolutely no idea what is even meant by a php function of a js function so I assume I will need to get developer to read this who will likely understand. I am just a sales guy I’m afraid ??
