    Hello

I’m using WP Super Cache plugin since 14 years on my website and it works great. I tried many caching plugins but found WP Super Cache is the best and simplest plugin. Thanks to the team for developing the plugin.

The latest version of plugin comes with a new feature called “Tracking Parameters”.

Now I’m confused whether should I enable it or keep it disabled?

I want to serve cached files to all users and bots ignoring the parameters. I can’t understand by the feature description, whether the checkbox “Enable” should be checked or unchecked to ignore URL parameters for more caching.

    Please guide me.

  • If you add various tracking parameters and enable it then the plugin will ignore those parameters to cache the page.
So /hello-world/ and /hello-world/?utm_source=blah will be cached as /hello-world/.

You might NOT want it enabled if you have some PHP that runs when those parameters are present in the URL.

    OK. Thanks for the info.
