Page View counts not updating in cached page

    Hello, I have an issue, I have ad posts of classifieds and there is an Ad views Count visible in classified posts,

    ad views were working fine without enabling cache, but after enabling cache, ad/page views count stopped working, the post along with view counts is being cached, I would like to get post cached and also counts keep updating. How to fix this issue?

    Hi,

    if that count is added as shortcode or widget, you can try use ESI feature

    otherwise there isn’t really a good solution , you may need to ask the ad plugin author to add ESI API support for it

    another simpler solution is to set TTL to lower time , like 30 minutes or 60 minutes , this way it will update sooner like each 30/60 minutes

    Hello, Thanks for the response, have enquired with theme developers and they said they have included post meta in the post,

    now issues is how can I generate Generate ESI block for post meta?
