    I fixed it! ^_^
I just processed batches of 9,000 posts at a time ^_^.
    but.
I did notice something maybe you might have some insight on.
I was testing to see if the alt text got applied to previous iterations of images and it looks like it worked.
But, on my page I was looking at, I have several images of my office that should have the alt text “inside the office of joe borders, MFT”
but when I inspect the page it looks like they just have “joe borders, mft”
    …did I do something wrong?
the page I’m looking at is here:

Thank you again for your help! ^_^

Thanks for your post and the update with the good news about the solution you found before I could suggest it; excellent work! Thanks as well for the link to the Pigzilla article, which I was unaware of. It’s always interesting to see where MLA pops up.

I had a quick look. I can see the ALT Text in the IMG tag, but it looks like these tags are generated by your theme or another plugin that performs the sliding gallery display. It’s quite possible that the pattern-matching logic the MLA Insert Fixit plugin is using is not finding these image references. I would have to look at the source text of the post/page to be sure.

If you can use the WordPress Code Editor mode to get the actual source text, post the relevant portion here and I can investigate further. I will leave this topic unresolved for now. Thanks for your interest in the plugin.

It has been seven weeks since my last post in this topic. I assume you have found a solution to the last part of the problem you reported.

I am marking this topic resolved, but please update it if the problem is still with you and you have more information to share.
