I setup MailPoet for daily notifications if there are new posts. I have yet to get the emails to send.

I’ve read though the FAQs / Common Issues and none of them apply or have resolved it. I have tried both the “Visitor” and Linux cron methods, as well as calling the cron endpoint manually from the CLI. When doing so, it runs without error, but no email is sent.

The post notification is active. It is applied to a test list that has one member. There is a new post to notify about. I am sending with MailPoet’s Sending Service. I am running the premium version of the plugin. System Status shows successful connections to the task scheduler and key activation / mailpoet sending service. Sending Queue is in a “Running” state. The one scheduled task is in the list as type = sending. There was 1 new post yesterday and it was set to run at 6am, but never ran. I changed it to being scheduled at 10am (25 minutes from now) and changed logging from Error to Everything in hopes of getting a log message.

Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

10am didn’t send anything. I changed the email to run at 11am, posted another new post. At the 11am run, no email either.

I believe I am on to something. I use the “Ultimate Members” plugin to make certain content only visible to logged in user. I’m thinking this has to do with the fact that the new posts are only visible to logged in users, so Mailpoet doesn’t see the post. Any suggestions on whether I’m on the right path here and how to fix?

    Hi

I am having the same problems, the difference being that my daily post notifications worked until the most recent one. I don’t know whether a recent Mailpoet update has broken something. I am also using the Mailpoet sending service.

I am using Ultimate Member bot do not have any hidden content.

I hope somebody picks this up soon because my site is due to go live in a couple of weeks.

    Hi there @satolatech,

    Thanks for reaching out!

Indeed, protected posts won’t show in the Post Notification email: https://kb.mailpoet.com/article/238-faq-post-notifications

@cihomewood can you please open a separate thread for your issue?

    Cheers!
