Yasr no working as expected: Schema not generated

    I am a fan of your plugin, I used it on several website to get star ratings in SERP and it worked perfectly. In one of my client’s websites, I faced a weird problem.
    I could not see schema generated by YASR in html code of page. Today I spend a lot of time investigating this issue and could not find a solution.

    [ redundant link removed ] is a link to one of blog post. this website uses Elementor, I added yasr shortcode to blog posts template, Disabled caching plugins, Cleared cloudflare cache, nothing changed. I can not see any schema generated by this plugin in Schema Validator

    I really appreciate if you can help me.

    PS: I use rank math, elementor, wp-rocket on this page

    Hello!

    In the editor screen, is the “Is this a review?” setting enabled?

    Thanks for your reply, I did not understand your point by “editor screen”. Do you mean plugin setting page?
    As I said, I am using free version of Yasr and Elementor and I add star ratings using shortcode.

    Hi, even with Elementor, you should be able to edit a post or page with the WordPress editor, there you can find that setting, as you can see in this screen https://snipboard.io/ObGU9C.jpg

    I checked and “Is this a review?” setting was disabled. I enabled, it, cleared cache and nothing changed.

    The thing is that I use elementor theme builder, I added shortcode in blog posts template and also product category pages templates. In product category editor there is no such an option.

    I must say that in this website I used the same method to add star rating in blog posts. it worked perfectly fine there. I don’t know why I have this issue now on this website.

    Since you’re using visitor votes, you must keep that disabled, more info here https://yetanotherstarsrating.com/docs/rich-snippet/reviewrating-and-aggregaterating/

    In archive pages rich snippets are not generated; they are returned only on posts, pages or CPT.
    This is because an archive page simple can’t be reviewed ??

    I just noticed that YASR has stopped working on all my websites using Elementor+ Astra theme. I carefully followed your tips and it did not help. I do now know why this is happening but I think in the last updates this problem happened.

    please take a look here, this link still has star rating in Google SERP, I did not change any setting for this website, but if I check it, with Schema Validator, I do not see review snippet. here is the link to that page.

    If without Elementor or Astra theme YASR returns rich snippets, this means that one of these two are disabling Yasr data; can you please try to disable them, and test again with the validator to find the culprit?

    Thank you, I just did the same but not be able to reproduce.

    I’ve installed elementor, astra and rank math (free version) but with no luck, schema are always returned.

    Problem must lay elsewhere: please try to disable all your other plugin 1 by 1

    This is the version 2.8.5

    If you need another version (e.g. 2.8.1) just change 2.8.5 to 2.8.1

    this problem still exists on all websites that I create using Elementor. Downgrading just fixes the problem. Any updates?
