I have a strange issue I’m struggling with. When I attempt to log in to my WP back-end using the domainname/wp-admin link, I get a blank (completely white) page. I can be using the website fine and then suddenly this behaviour kicks in. Once it happens, I often then get either 500 or 503 errors.

I have found that the only way to recover from this is to disable (by renaming the directory) the CleanTalk plugin. As soon as I’ve done that, the website starts responding perfectly normally again. I can then enable the Cleantalk plugin again and things are then usually good…until the problem kicks in again at what seems like a random interval.

I also am unable to upgrade my WooCommerce plugin. Attempting to do so results in a generic error (Update failed: error) and a ‘Briefly unavailable for scheduled maintenance. Check back in a minute.’ notice in the browser. Even when I then delete the .maintenance file to recover from this, I then get faced with the white screen problem again as described above and I have to disable Cleantalk again to get things going again.

What could be going on here?

    Cleantalk 5.160.2
    WP 5.8
