    Hi Nick,

I was surprised to still find messages in my log about this deprecated genesis function. It’s now 1 year and 4 months after I first brought it to you and you acknowledged this would be solved in a next version. But perhaps that version is still in the works?

I manually changed the calls to that function in my own copy now, but should it have been fixed by now too. Only the function name prefix has to be changed from genesis_ to wp_ and now I have to keep track of that every time I reinstall the plugin on another website.

genesis_get_additional_image_sizes() right now just calls wp_get_additional_image_sizes() and returns the result, so changing it will only remove the deprecation warning and impact nothing else.

you’ll find the original bug report here.

I hope you get to finish the more gutenberg compatible version of your plugin, but perhaps this can be fixed the current version for now too. Just two function calls in inc/widget-class.php

    thanks,

    Hans

    Hi Hans,

My apologies, this definitely fell through the cracks! I will get a quick fix implemented for this by the end of the day tomorrow.

I’ll follow up once the release is live. Thanks for staying on top of this! ??

    Best,
    Nick
