The correct way to add product categories to navigation/menus in my shop

Hello Woocommerce Support
I need help in how to make the navigation correctly in my Woocommerce shop.
A lot of my navigation will be linking to pure categories of products, in my shop.
I go to Appearance – Menus – Main Navigation.
Then in the ‘add elements for menu’ box/selector, if I go to select ‘Categories’, it is not showing actual product Categories, It is showing Categories for my blogposts instead.
So the only way I can add Categories to my menu/navigation, is by making a ‘userdefined link’, with the URL to the Product Category.
Is this the correct way of building the navigation/adding Product Categories to the menus, in my shop? Is there another, more correct, way to add Product Categories to my navigation/menu?

This is expected. Your product categories are shown in another menu items section called Product Categories.
To enable it, you will want to click on the Screen Options button on the top right side of the Appearance → Menus page and check the box for Product Categories.
