• I have one product with 7 variations, all are the same price. If you buy five of the products (any combination of variations) I want to discount the price. This would mean that one item is 2.50, but five items is 10.00. After I set up the plugin (I thought correctly) the table on the product page appears to be right – that is it shows quantity 5, fixed price 10.00. However, if I add the five variable products, the price becomes 50.00 and not 10.00.

Is what I am trying to achieve possible with your plugin?

    Thank you.

    Hello

I’ve been trying different options, but the rule now is:

please, set “Fixed price for item” = 2.00

Fantastic. Thank you for your fast response. The only issue I can see with this is that the discount does not apply in batches of 5, rather to anything over 5 (as long as you have a higher number in the second box). If a customer ordered 9 variable items, the discount would apply to all of the items, rather than the first 5 only.

Ah, thank you. This is a pro feature? I’ll pass that information along to the person who the website belongs to.

Still confusing I’m afraid. If I add a ‘Buy 4 get one free option’ with my variable product, it’s fine as long as I select one variation (flavour in this case). If I select 2 of one flavour and 2 of another, I should get one free – but I don’t. And how would it decide what flavour I wanted the free one to be? (There are 7 flavours in total).

    Do you mean like this?

So this means that whichever flavour I select first, that will become the ‘free’ one. As an example, I select 1 x Beef and 3 x Turkey – the free one is added as Beef. Even if I change the amounts in the basket, making 2 x Beef and 2 x Turkey, always Beef will be the freebie? This does alter if I change the amounts in the basket to meet the next 5 bulk items – so 7 x Turkey, 2 x Beef, I do get one free Beef and 1 free Turkey. I haven’t tested this with all 7 flavours yet.

    hello

    Yes, this rule.

Yes, it will take 1st added to the cart.

2 x Beef , 7 x Turkey will be spitted by product filter to following sets

    1. 2 x Beef , 2 x Turkey = total 4 , 1st is Beef
    2. 4 x Turkey = total 4 , 1st is Turkey

Thank you. I cannot say the plugin set-up (to me anyway) is very intuitive, but the support is excellent!
