Hide Gift card notfications/functionality from Certain User Group

Hello,

We have a site that serves B2C and B2B customers, and would like to be able to hide everything to do with PW gift cards on the frontend of our site from B2B customers, as giftcards aren’t available and don’t apply to these types of accounts.

We tried using some of the code shared on the Documentation, such as:

and modifying to suit our use-case but it didn’t work.

Is there a snippet we could use to toggle this? We have the php logic to determine if they are a B2B customer, we just need to be able to hide notifications on the checkout such as:

“Have a gift card? Click here to enter your gift card number”

Any light that could be shed on this would be a great help!
