    I am new to building websites, and find WordPress highly useful.
    I used “Magazine Basic” for my site, though I changed the settings in small places.
    For the content, you can find pics and info of all new Chinese cars. I hope one day some of them will come to the US.
    But if they dont, I still hope they will be interesting to watch.

    As I am new to website building, I am sure there are many places I need to correct or change. Please help me to improve it, both the look and the content.

  • nice selection of theme, the black and white themes looks good for tech/auto sites. I just checked out a few of your posts, nice pictures, surely its good to watch whether those cars comes to our market or not ??

    here are a few suggestions:

    1) you can get rid of the calender from the sidebar, its pretty much a useless capture of precious space.

    2) Use social media buttons, perhaps a social bookmarking plugin would help,

    nice site, keep it updated ??

    This is a great start!

    Here’s what I would do in the short term:

    1. Replace image text with smoother image. “ChinaAutoWeb” looks really choppy.

    2. Allow comments for your posts.

    3. Rather than simply writing news, which people can get from anywhere, offer an opinion. In other words, add value to the content to make it unique.

    4. I would include an about page somewhere. Tell us why you’re an expert, why you’re credible, or where you’re getting the info from.

    5. I would relabel ‘Foreign brands’ to something else. I know you’re referring to non-China vehicles but it can get confusing since the site is written in English.

    I just added social media bookmarks as suggested.
    And will work on other suggestions.
    I still feel technically inadequate, often not be able to realize the effects i want.

    Sorry El Scampio.
    I did some search online about the malware, but really have no clue what caused it in your browser.
    I am using Google webmaster tools, and it says it cannot detect any malware in my website.
    I great appreciate if anyone can help here.

    @el Scampio, can you please let us know which anti-virus you are using, am haivng macafee and it did not gave any virus/malware message.

    since i had opened the site too, so i did a full computer search for the malware you posted but could not find either. looking foreword to more information from you.

    @jasonkong, you can contact your host for more details on that, perhaps that can help ??
