• A very odd problem.

I developed this this on a separate development server (dev.jasnamaine.org).

I used updraft plus to backup the development site, then moved those files to the production server where I reinstalled them using updraft plus.

I updated the URLs in general settings and I used Velvet Blues and Better Search and Replace to find all instances of dev.jasnamaine.org and replace it with jasnamaine.org

The site looks fine, EXCEPT for the link to the category/essays archive which doesn’t display properly. It is only this link.

Checking the console, I see errors indicating that the theme (Divi) is looking to pull some files from the dev server.

I’m stumped — where is this reference to the old dev server found? I’ve searched the Divi theme folder (which I did not modify) – nothing.

I do see several dev.jasnamaine.org references in the database, after downloading it. Do I need to search and replace it there? Makes me nervous.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    suggestions:
*contact DIVI theme support for guidance
*contact UpDrafts plus support for guidance
**make a full backup of production theme and database**
*recheck in the production database tables for any remaining wrong URLs. if you have references to wrong URL in database, yes they likely need to be removed.

    Thank you.

DIVI suggested using Better Search and Replace, but that didn’t resolve the problem.

I’m now thinking of doing a manual S&R and reupload on the database, which I’ve outlined in a separate post.
