• Great plugin but I have a bit of a weird issue.

On a clients site I am using the NextGEN Slideshow Widget. Worked PERFECTLY.

Until I switched the URL (blog address in settings) from domain.com/wordpress to domain.com because the client obviously does not want wordpress in the URL. Imagerotator.swf just keeps loading and loading. Switched the URL back to domain.com/wordpress and it worked again so it is definitely ’cause of the URL change. But how do I make imagerotator.swf adapt?

    Thanks in advance!

  • Check the path of the slideshow in the settings

    I’ve tried so many variations:

full (search puts this in): https://www.domain.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/imagerotator.swf

And without the wordpress/, without the http part, without the www part. I think it finds the rotator.swf just not the images or something?

CHMOD is all set to 755 where necessary. Can it have anything to do with installing the plugin ‘Role Scoping for NextGEN’? I don’t think so…

Maybe I have to edit the URL in the Plugin itself? It just needs to understand my pics are in the usual gallery folder and so is the rotator, I just don’t want /wordpress trailing the URL lol…

Had the exact same issue and just got the bugger working again. All the settings in the NextGen options panel had been dropped when I moved my site from a testing server to a live server.

I just filled in all the blanks on every tab in the options panel, and she came good.

    Good luck!
