Can we implement with Neve a color system with auto-generated HSL color scheme (with variables/formula)? How?
Here is a detailed description about how to do it in oxygen with some custom code: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Ta8_OhKY7k

How this can be adapted for Neve?

It would be great to have a code that would make possible to insert only the main/accent color and all the other colors to be generated automatically, with parameters specified by the user.

It would be great if in the future such feature would be present by default in the color features of the theme, with clicks. I`ve heard GeneratePress is preparing something like that…

But with code or some kind of “Developers Edition Neve Child Theme” it would be OK anyway…

Can anyone (with better knowledge of programming) write some lines of code, to adapt for Neve the code described in the video above?

    Thanks!

  • Hi @atelieruldeweb!

    Thanks for choosing Neve!

It’s not possible to implement a color system with an auto-generated HSL color scheme using Neve. Regarding custom code to do this, it requires a level of customization that we don’t provide. However, an advantage of writing on forums like this one is that other users from the community may be able to help, so don’t lose hope!

Thank you for understanding and have a wonderful day!

    Hi @atelieruldeweb,

Neve has global colors which means that a palette of colors once defined in the theme options, it allows each color to be used in other blocks within the editor. You can find more details about it in this guide – https://docs.themeisle.com/article/1314-global-colors-in-neve.

    We hope this will help.
