WordPress Update Issue

I would re-upload all the WordPress core files just to be sure you’re running the latest.

I’ve found out the reason for this update anomaly.

The cause of this is due to me changing the language setting in wp-config.php to zh_CN.

define ('WPLANG', 'zh_CN');

After changing this setting, WordPress detected that there’s a more updated Chinese version of WordPress available; therefore it asked me to update.

I’m also facing same issue.Do you know any way to solve this.

What I did was click on the update button but don’t update. Instead, pick the do not notify option (I forgot the exact wording).
