• I have installed the Voice Search plugin by Pascal Birchler. The microphone does show up in the search button and when pressed accepts the word and displays it correctly, however, it doesn’t find the selected word in my website, even though the word is listed in the catalog section and there are products with that name. So it defeats the whole concept of using voice. Does your theme support the get_search_form() function. In any case please advise how to fix this problem.
    Thanks

    Hello @wavedocfarid

Seems like there was misunderstanding between our answer and your queries sorry for this.

Our custom advance search widget for woocomerce was custom search which was not using get_search_form function so that plugin that you are using may not work properly on our inbuilt advance search widget. If you want to use search form that used the get_search_form feature then you need to used the default search form of WordPress. If in future we implement function then we surely add it on our changelog.

Sorry if there is any misunderstanding from our side for your queries you ask. Hope it will be clear now.

    Thanks

    Hello @wavedocfarid

We have not tested any voice search functionality on our theme till now and in future updates if we tested it and implement any plugin or features regrading this then we will surely release update of the theme. Thank you for the suggestion regarding voice search.

And also the seems like the plugin you are using are for WordPress posts not for woocommerce products search and you can contact plugin author for more detail regarding that plugins.

We have no such recommendation for voice search but if you google it then there you can see many recommendation of free and premium plugin and articles as well.

About the default search form currently as you can see on header you are using advance search option provided by easy store instead of that you can use default search widget which was available in appearance >> widgets in your WordPress dashboard. The function get_search_form() you are looking for was available in WordPress search form not in our advance search form.

Hope you got all your answer regrading this topic.

    Thanks
