[Plugin: MailChimp List Subscribe Form] MailChimp User Name & Password with Google Apps Intergra

  • I am attempting to use the wordpress plugin on my site. However, I have created my mailchimp account through the google apps integration.

    The first step of setting up the WP plugin, is to enter my username & password, however I don’t know what this is. I have attempted the google apps UN & PW, but with no success. When I go to ‘MailChimp -> Account -> Username & Password” it points me back to google apps, where I find no evidence of what the UN & PW might be.

    Any suggestions on where I could find this login info?

  • The plugin doesn’t support those yet – there’s a way to make it work, but it’s not trivial and requires updating things in your wordpress database. The next major release (should be 1.2) will remove the requirement of using a username and password.
