Add categories in Adverts listing achieve page

  • Hi, as you demo site, I see that if I click on the listed categories in the sidebar , it shows only the adverts in the category, but in my site, there’s no option to add the sidebar to the archive/listing page of the adverts. How can I achieve that? Currently I have the sidebar attached to a page where [adverts-list] shortcode is placed. But once I click on the sidebar categories, it reloads to the category achieve page but without the sidebar.

    Hi,
    it mainly depends on your theme, in most cases you should be able to use a plugin like Custom Sidebars https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/custom-sidebars/ to create and show the sidebar on the advert category pages.

    That said every theme is a bit differnt, so if the Custom Sidebars plugin will not work for you then it would be best to ask the theme author: how to make the custom taxonomy page (n this case “advert_category”) use a template with a sidebar?
