About PayPal Checkout upgrade

I have noticed PayPal Checkout payment support will end on March 2022, but when I checked the newly PayPal Payment, it does not support China, will it support in the near future? If not, it will be a disaster for Chinese users

I understand you’re concerned about when support for PayPal Payments in China will be added.

I can confirm that PayPal Payments can already be used by companies in China. You can see a full list of supported countries on the sidebar of the product page under “Details and compatibility“.

Could you please let us know where you read that China is not a supported country so that we can make sure the correct information is available for all users?

I wanted to let you know that I’m looking into this issue. I had a similar experience when I tried to connect to PayPal and add China as the country. It wasn’t on the list of countries for me either: https://d.pr/i/AND46F

I’ve contacted PayPal to see if we can find out why China isn’t showing up. I’ll be in touch with more information soon!

I checked with our PayPal contacts, and they suggested checking to be sure that your merchant location is set to China in your WooCommerce > General settings. Depending on the location of your store, different country lists will be displayed. Hopefully that will solve the problem, but if you have any other questions, please let us know!

I have changed the store location and it worked, but I found out it do not accept credit card payment if your store address set to China, please check:https://prnt.sc/1thkxrh, when it will available? Is there any risk when I change the store location to US? When switched location to US, different result:https://prnt.sc/1thm013, also can`t use credit card function, how to solve this? Please help me out!

It sounds like this issue is directly related to the WooCommerce PayPal Payments plugin.
