Unable to add new images

  • I have a total of 4 Blog entries and in the first 2 I was able to upload and display an image in the blog entry.

    Last week and now this week I am unable to add an image that can be properly displayed. All wee see is a box with an x in the middle of it.

    The image is stored on the server because it was uploaded and can be edited if desired but will not display in the blog itself.

    Any ideas or suggestions will be appreciated…

    Have you tried to View your page source, copying the URL of your image then pasting it directly in your browser.
    Can the browser find your image?

    By the way did you modify anything in your images code?

    When uploading images, did you follow this process?
    1- Add images in your Media Library
    2- In your post “Upload/Insert” select 1st icon “Add image”
    3- Add an image / choose “MEDIA Library”
    4- Select “Show” for the ones u want
    5- Click on “Insert into post” (this produces the code)

    If you answered yes to all above, try to delete the 2 concerned images from your library and redo the whole process.

    I just tried inserting a new image and it worked. I have been using the 5 steps you listed in my insert attempts.

    I suspect this may have been a Host related issue. We have seen notices that Network Solutions has been experiencing upload issues.

    If this problem reoccurs I will post again.
