A few wordpress issues.
-
Alright, I’m gonna try and go into as much detail as I can.
Website is https://newmusicreviews.net
Was running 2.7 on a GoDaddy shared server and everything was running smoothly, and then I got hacked by the the ninoplas 64 virus that ran some php script from kdjkfjskdfjlskdjf.com.
GoDaddy was in the process of moving my files to a new server, so I don’t believe the database was ever compromised.
Got everything wiped yesterday, upgraded to 2.9. Tried posting yesterday, however it took quite a long time for me to enter tags (I have over 23000 posts). Obviously with this many posts the page can sometime take time to load, but i was able to enter anything right away, except for tags. In the tags field it would just type over the “add new tag” until the entire page loaded. Basically to save time I would have to create the post, publish it, and then go back and tag it.
Downgraded back to 2.7 thought everything was ok. Created a whole bunch of posts yesterday and scheduled posts would not post.
I have tried everything, having no active plugins, defaulting to default theme, etc, and I can’t get the scheduled posts to ever post. Tried updating the wp-cron file, still did nothing.
The other issue I’m having is I will delete all files associated with wordpress, upload a never touched folder, and my widgets are still intact.
I’m currently restoring my database to yesterday before I did anything.
I can’t download all my posts through the export because of the large number of posts I have.
I would consider wiping everything, however then I would loose all 23000+ posts because I have no way to restore them (can’t export)?
Obviously they’re saved in the database, I’m wondering if something in the database is saving my widgets, etc, and not allowing future posts?
Any ideas?
Thanks a ton!
Willis
