    Hi! I just activated Ultimate Member and Ultimate Member Captcha on my site and now I’m getting a fatal error. I’m not sure if the order I activated them in could have anything to do with it, or if merely activated Ultimate Member by itself would have caused the issue. I’m running Divi with a number of other plugins, but no specific member/user plugins as far as I know. I hope to be able to restore a backup, but I need to know this won’t happen again when I try to add it. Any ideas? Here’s the full message:

    Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function wp_get_current_user() in /home/customer/www/kristiner11.sg-host.com/public_html/wp-includes/capabilities.php:693 Stack trace: #0 /home/customer/www/kristiner11.sg-host.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/ultimate-member/includes/core/class-access.php(434): current_user_can('administrator') #1 /home/customer/www/kristiner11.sg-host.com/public_html/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(303): um\core\Access->exclude_posts(Object(WP_Query)) #2 /home/customer/www/kristiner11.sg-host.com/public_html/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(327): WP_Hook->apply_filters(NULL, Array) #3 /home/customer/www/kristiner11.sg-host.com/public_html/wp-includes/plugin.php(518): WP_Hook->do_action(Array) #4 /home/customer/www/kristiner11.sg-host.com/public_html/wp-includes/class-wp-query.php(1784): do_action_ref_array('pre_get_posts', Array) #5 /home/customer/www/kristiner11.sg-host.com/public_html/wp-includes/class-wp-query.php(3465): WP_Query->get_posts() #6 /home/customer/www/kristiner11.sg-host.com/pu in /home/customer/www/kristiner11.sg-host.com/public_html/wp-includes/capabilities.php on line 693

    Thank you!

    Hi @awesomeflyingdude

    Could you please tell us what version of UM you’re using on your site? Have you tried turning off all plugins and then leave UM active to see if this is a conflict issue?

    It’s the latest version – I installed and activated it straight from the WP Admin Plugins section. I haven’t gotten a chance to get back into the site because I’m working on it with someone else and don’t have access to restore the backup. Once I can do that, I’ll try turning off plugins and see if that helps – I just wanted to go ahead and ask in case that specific error was known to be caused by any specific conflict. I’d really like to use Ultimate Member for this site, as it was so helpful and easy to use for another site I built. I’m really hoping that if it’s a plugin conflict, it’s with the few we can do without. Thanks!

    Conflict is with “WooCommerce Product Tabs”…which is unfortunate because I really wanted to use that too, as it was the best I could find to suit our needs. I’ll reach out to their forums and let them know as well. Thanks!

    They published an update to the WooCommerce Product Tabs plugin today and it no longer conflicts, so it is indeed resolved! Great support from both teams, thank you!
