    Hello,

In plugin description you wrote “Cloning and Migration for the multisite” is supported in the Pro verion. Trusting that statment, we purchased Developer license (your highest tier in Pro license)

First thing we tried was the “Cloning and Migration” and here we are: “Backup is not supported in multisite, we are trying hard to support it one day.”

You specifically pointed that “Cloning and Migration in multisite” is supported in multisite:
    https://ibb.co/2ktr01P

(if by that, you meant “Staging”, you would better use the word “Staging” specifically, instead of “Cloning and Migration“, specially that they are in 2 different tabs, and clearly mention that “Backup and Migration” is not supported in multisite. The way it is now is totally misleading)

Is there any plan to support multisite for Backup and Migration?

    Thanks

Btw. you are right. The description in the free version is misleading. I will fix it immediately. We had this feature ready, but decided to test it more carefully before we release it. I will answer all your questions in detail when you write me personally.

I sent you an email through your website.

(hopefully I can get my hands on the feature soon. the thing is, I did a lot of research before I ask the company to purchase your plugin, and it took me a long time until I make sure what is our best option, and now if I let them know pretty much one the most important features is missing, they will feel I’m not doing enough research and just blindly ask them to purchase a tool. Doesn’t feel good, I’m sure you understand)

    Thanks

@renehermi I hope you are doing great.

Since our last conversation (through email), you mentioned the discussed feature will be available within 3 weeks (max). It’s been 2 months and 1 week since then. Is there an update, please?

Also, it’s been 25 days since WordPress 5.8.2 is released, and as the wp staging plugin’s notice says about when we can expect an update: “…usually happens after a few days after a new WordPress version is released.”:
    https://ibb.co/bNtQXVp

May I know please when we finally can expect an update?

    Thanks again

    Hello @dadparvar

I hope you are doing well, too.

Did you get the update in the meantime? We had a small issue in our update routine which prevented a few users from getting the update. The new update is already out since nearly a month.

Let’s continue talking about your other question at support [at] wp-staging.com as it is not directly related to the wp staging basic version.

    All the best
    René

Yes, a few hours after my post I got an update regarding that Notice.

I’ll message you on your site about the other issue now.

    Thanks

    Thanks @renehermi

Painful 4 months, but it’s good to see this feature finally coming to the plugin.
