Cover Block – No video on iOS

  • I use Twenty Twenty One, most recent WordPress update. The video plays on web but not on iOS.

  • The video does not play for me in Safari on macOS either, even if I access the URL to the video directly, so I do not believe this is related to the video block, or even WordPress.

    This post suggests that the server needs to support certain headers for video to work in Safari. So this is something you will likely need to talk to your host about.
