• I’m trying to set up the Cardpointe payment gateway on my development site. I have opened port 443 and have confirmed that it’s open; an SSL is installed and the credentials are correct.

I’m still getting a double error message:

    Warnings/Messages	Port 443 is closed.
You will not be able to process transactions using the sandbox CardPointe environment.
First ensure that the 'Site' field is set and saved correctly above.
Then please request that your server admin or hosting provider opens port 443.

How can I resolve this? Please help.

    Hi @shanacohen

Put the plugin in test mode, make sure you have the correct credentials and site url (fts), and test the front end checkout using card 4111 1111 1111 1111 ( a testing number) with any date in the future and any non-sequential or repeating CVV number (e.g. 542).

If that works, you should be fine to use the plugin. If not, please contact your CardPointe rep for further assistance.

At this time, we have no way of testing an individual server setup.
