Conflict with WC 5.7.1?

I’m experiencing issues as well. After updating both WooCommerce and Disable WooCommerce Bloat, the dashboard Status Meta Box for order totals is missing even though I don’t have anything checked for that to be disabled. It also appears many of the new “Home” features in the menu are conflicting with Disable WooCommerce Bloat unfortunately.

I’ve had to disable until the issues are hopefully resolved.

Are you guys using Stripe Payment Gateway?
There is a known issue with this plugin and the fix is on the way.

Yes, indeed there was a bug in WooCommerce 5.7.0 that led to displaying WooCommerce Setup box. It’s a strange thing that 5.7.1 fix

Same issue for me. I’ve only installed WooCommerce and this plugin.

The problem seems to be caused by the fist option: ‘Disable WooCommerce Admin’. When checked, the WooCommerce setup box is replacing the WooCommerce Status box. Unchecked, only the Status box is shown.

Lately I’ve experienced the setup box problem on sites without using this plugin aswell, although this issue seems to be caused by the disable bloat plugin.

Thanks for sharing the solution that fixed your problem @editpostok. I did try to update to WC 5.8.0. including your ‘fix’. That did not work for me. I rolled back to WC 5.6.0 again (had to hide the setup message on WC dashboard again by the way) and will be remaining here for a while. For me the ‘conflict’ between WC 5.7 and higher versions and the Disable WC Bloat plugin unfortunately remains. WC version 5.6.0 however is working perfectly for me with the Disable WC Bloat plugin. I do not need all the WC extra analytics, so I will sit this one out.

I have this problem as well (and I’m not using Stripe). If I deactivate Disable WooCommerce Bloat the status box is back to it’s pre-5.7.0 normal, but if I reactivate it, it goes back to the Setup issue.

I think this might be due to the ‘fix’ being put into wc-admin, as per Github notes. https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce-admin/pull/7698

I just updated to WC 5.9.0 (and WP 5.8.2) and the issue is gone. Everything is up and running perfectly. Hopefully updating to WC 5.9.0 works for others as well.
