    hey team,
Thank you so much for this amazing plugin! ??

    I have a question:
When a new user registers in the website, it still shows the username. The admin needs to go to Settings > Force First and Lats > Update Existing Users in order to force First + Last.

Is there an automatic way to update the user once he registers? Without the need to click in the button automatically?

The registration system I use is woocommerce.

Thank you again for your help!??
    A

  • having the same problem in my install
in settings works great, but at registation doesnt work

In my test with WooCommerce just now, =the user created at checkout does indeed have a display name set to First Last. I tested both where the username is automatically generated by WC, as well as allowing the user to create their own username. In both cases, the “Display Name” for the user is the First Last name as set in the “Billing Address” fields at checkout.

There is also a “nickname” in the WordPress user, which is set to the username generated by Woo or chosen by the user. This should not affect what is shown as the user’s display name, though.

Can you tell me what your settings are under WooCommerce > Settings > Accounts & Privacy?

Can you tell me the exact setup/steps you are using to register through WooCommerce?

    Thank you,
    Kim
