• Hello,

I created a filter of avaibility by setting “out of stock”.

But it does not work, please check the screenshot at https://prnt.sc/1tt5oip

So, would you please filter out products by “out of stock”? here are three terms:

    out of stock
    Out of stock
    out_of_stock

    which one is right please?

  • When the feed is set up for Google Shopping then you need to use this one: “out_of_stock”

    Hope this helps?

I also had this requirement and can confirm that “out_of_stock” works for Google Shopping feeds.
If it doesn’t, then wait like 5 min minimum, the feed takes some time to be updated.

    Hello @supportadtribes,

1# For Google review feeds, I tried the setting, and please check the screenshot:

    https://prnt.sc/1u3drxr

    (1) Include a special category: category(not used for mapping)/ category, is equal to

I am quite curious why both category(not used for mapping)/ category works here, it would be great if we can have your professional explaination. This setting is related to this post at https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/category-categorynot-used-for-mapping-and-is-equal-to-contains/

    (2) Filter out the product of out of stock: availability, is equal to, out_of_stock

I found out_of_stock does not work properly, reviews of the products of out of stock still be output. But “out of stock” pattern seems work although google requires out_of_stock in feed, and I just suppose it depends on coding rules. Would you please have a test?

2# For Google products feeds, I found “out_of_stock” works, but “out of stock” does not work in Feed filters and rules. Please note this is different with Google review feeds setting, and it would be great if you like to have a test.

    Thanks

The reason your exclude filters on stock and/or category are not working is because those are fields that are not in review feeds. As a result you also can’t filter them out.

You can only use the following fields for rules and filters when it comes to review feeds:

    • product name
    • product id
    • link
    • your gtin attribute
    • your mpn attribute
    • your sku attribute
    • your brand attribute

If so, how to filter out/exclude products by Category and availability(out of stock)? Would you please show a screenshot of example?

Thanks in advance, have a nice day.

Like mentioned, you cannot. These are the attributes you can filter on:

    product name
    product id
    link
    your gtin attribute
    your mpn attribute
    your sku attribute
    your brand attribute

You cannot filter on availability and category.
