Even though I have the option of “Can access wp-admin?” checked and the option “Force hiding adminbar in frontend?” unchecked the adminbar does not display for this role.

    Hi @kateva

How many roles are assigned to your test account that has this issue? If there’s more than 1 role assigned to it, you need to make the role a primary role by adding a Priority Number in the User Role settings.

There’s only one role assigned to the account. I added a priority number anyway, but it did not make the admin bar appear. Should every role have a number assigned?

    Thanks!

@kateva priority is required only if you have more than one role assigned to a single user. Can you please navigate to wp-admin/profile.php and see if “Show Toolbar when viewing site” is checked. This should be checked if you want to display the admin bar.

    Hi @kateva

Please try the above steps provided by @aswingiri . If you’re still having issues, I suggest that you do a plugin conflict test. Maybe there’s another plugin that hides the admin bar.

This doc explains how to do a conflict test if you are not sure: How to do a plugin/theme conflict test?
