This seems to be a great plugin. I wonder how to make sure, that an editor (or other role) has the screen settings option only available for some of the post types. My scenario needs an editor to have this sort feature only for a portfolio post type, but not for the other post types. Is this possible?

    Thanks,
    Bernhard

    Hi @lingtyp !

    Thanks for your message.

Currently, the screen setting is only available for users with the manage_options capability. Or do you want to restrict users to be able to drag & drop some post types?

    Hi Matthias,

this might already solve my problem. Didn’t know, that the screen option setting of this plugin is only available for higher roles i.e. that it is not visible for editors. You are right, I need to restrict the ordering for an editor to just one post type.
So will this work: I (as admin) activate ordering option only for one post type and this will get honored for the editor role? If yes, this would be perfect.

    Thanks,
    Bernhard

    Hi again!

Yeah, you as administrator can only activate the ordering. Editors and you are able to order the posts within this post type. ??

Great! I really like the minimalist approach of this plugin. ??
