• Hi,

I need help from the experts. I always got an error on my dashboard:

The plugin PluginName.php has been deactivated due to an error: Plugin file does not exist.

When I check the plugin, It’s not in the “Installed Plugin”. I try to reinstall them from WordPress Plugin Repository and gives me this error:

Installation failed: Destination folder already exists.

    Other details that might help:
    – This happened to me 5 times already from the last 2 weeks.
    – It seems that wordpress (or something else like cache or optimization plugins) were deleting the files of a random plugin.
    – When I checked the files on FTP, the plugin folder is still there.

    Temporary Fix:
Here is temporary fix that I did
    – Access the FTP then delete the Plugin Folder
    – Reinstall the plugin from WordPress Plugin Repository

But on the next day, the problem occurs again and affects a random plugin.
